You must obtain the Marriage licenses from your local city halls and will most likely receive them within two to three days. The Health Department letter portion of the packets will be mailed out as part of the legal obligation.

Services cover most of Washington State, the Portland area, and Western Idaho. The fee includes all travel, including rehearsals, from the location of service. That is why fees are incrementally higher as distance increases. There are no extra fees. The price seen is all that will be paid. If there is uncertainty about travel availability, please ask. Services would be glad to officiate weddings, depending on distance.

This has never happened, but fortunately there is a deep bench of several licensed and experienced colleagues who would also deliver an exceptional ceremony. The ceremony will already be completely written, of course, and one of these colleagues would seamlessly step in to read and perform what has been created together.

Rehearsals are recommended – that is why they are included in the services.

If venues are not available for rehearsals, there is no need to worry. Only a space is needed where a “front area” can be imagined to practice walking down a mock aisle and standing in a line. Rehearsals have been done in city parks, living rooms, condo party rooms, and restaurants.

Everything possible is done to make sure everyone is as relaxed as possible on the wedding day. Rehearsals – anywhere – go a long way toward that.

After meetings take place and decisions are made to book services, an email is sent with a link to an online payment portal. Payments can be made by credit card online. A $50 booking deposit is requested as a retainer, and the remaining $325 is requested well after drafts of ceremony scripts are received and are almost complete. Then the story building process begins, editing is done collaboratively, and outreach to friends and family is made, if requested. CashApp, Venmo, and PayPal are accepted for deposits, and cash is accepted on the day of the wedding for the balance.

There are choices of a full Irish kilt, business suits, or minister shirts with collars. Preferences can be shared accordingly.

Custom corsages are provided, crafted to match wedding colors, along with handfasting cords for ceremonies. Each service is personally written to align with specific needs and wishes.
